There’s not much I can add to the other four-star reviews for mm875 mower. After some research and a trial run with a friend’s identical mower, it was purchased for my wife, who wanted to be able to mow the lawn easily on our irregular 1/3-acre lot during my frequent absences (our gasoline-powered mower is too much for her). For a mostly-plastic machine it’s sturdily built (although the power lever does seem a little flimsy). It has good power and cuts even tall, damp grass without seeming to strain much. I was surprised, too, at how well it bags–through what, on first seeing it, I thought was an inadquate discharge port (I agree, as does my wife, with the suggestion in an earlier review about stopping a couple of times to shift cuttings to the back of the bag). The understandable and expected drawback is having to dance around the cord (and, for large yards, I strongly recommend 12-gauge), which, perhaps unfairly, is the reason for the dropped star. Most importantly, though, my wife loves it!

The delivery was according to the schedule promised (although not within Amazon’s intitially advertised “free shipping” time-frame, which meant that the lawn, in the unusually rainy weather we’ve been having, grew quite tall).
